His Boiler was soot up, rarely serviced and piped incorrectly.
The only option was to replace it.

Very quickly Keith agreed to replace the old boiler.

With replacing an Old Steam Boiler Timing is everything especially approaching the middle of Winter

With the cold days approaching fast, timing was critical. Keith’s new boiler was our priority and we work very hard to complete our work on time.
We started our work upstairs at the radiators level. We determined the heating load, the type of radiators needed with their heating section requirement in square foot.

We had all the technical information that we needed to start building the 370 square feet of heat which equated to a 4 section cast Iron Steam Boiler.

Keith’s new heating system exceeded his expectations.
We supplied and installed a Triple Pass Mega Steam Burnham Oil fired Boiler 88% efficiency rating as well as a BX Beckett Oil Fired Burner.

We followed the manufacturer’s piping diagram.

We followed the manufacturer’s piping diagram to the t. We took care of the High Pressure Steam Boiler Equalization. We created the proper header with required equalizer. We separated the return from the supply which was part of the original Boiler Piping.

We added a Main Steam Return Vent with new Angle Steam adjustable Radiator Air vents.
